Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes what data fxgnosis (hereinafter, “the site”) collects from visitors, how it is used, and what rights you have regarding this data.

What data is collected

When visiting the site, the following technical data is automatically collected:

  • IP address and approximate geolocation (country, region)
  • User-Agent (browser type, operating system, device)
  • Referrer (URL of the page from which the visitor came)
  • Visited page URLs and visit time
  • Cookies set by Cloudflare for bot protection

fxgnosis does not ask visitors for name, email, phone, or other identifying data. There is no registration on the site.

Purposes of processing

  • Ensuring site operability and security (protection from bots, DDoS)
  • Analysis of aggregated traffic statistics (without identifying individual users)
  • Tracking transitions via affiliate links (on the broker side, not on the fxgnosis side)

Third parties

  • Cloudflare Inc. — CDN and site protection. Cloudflare processes visitors' technical data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
  • Broker affiliate programs — when you follow an affiliate link, you are taken to a third-party broker site that may set its own cookies. Data processing terms are governed by the policy of the respective broker.

Retention period

Web server logs (IP address, User-Agent, requested URLs) are rotated daily and automatically deleted after 14 days. Cloudflare data is retained in accordance with Cloudflare policy.

Your rights

The site does not use registration and does not store identifying user profiles. The only identifying information retained in web server logs is technical records linked to a visitor's IP address.

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA, Act 4 of 2013), you have data subject rights: to be notified of collection, to access your personal information, to request its correction or deletion, and to object to its processing. For EU users, the GDPR also applies.

With respect to the technical information collected by the site, this means the right to:

  • Request what technical records are stored in the logs in connection with your IP address (access)
  • Request correction or early deletion of these records before the scheduled rotation
  • Object to their processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za), the authority responsible for POPIA as of June 2026

To exercise these rights, contact [email protected] and provide your IP address and approximate time of visit.
